2. APPROVAL OF November 2025 MINUTES – Vickie Getz
Nancy Madilakis made the motion to accept the minutes from November.

3. TREASURER REPORT - Denise Klag
In Denise’s absence, Vickie Getz reported that we have $35,782.47 in checking and $10,090.13 in savings.
The Bank Statement is always available to see.
Dues are due by December 31, 20025 for 2026
4. COMMITTEE REPORTS
A. Membership: Mark Staron & Kati White (Kati will start in January)
There are still openings for this committee & they will be handling meet & greets.

Non-Profit Membership $75.00

B. Social Media: Christina McVey-
Membership if you want something posted on Facebook email Christina. Follow the chamber so she can see what you are posting about events, etc. Businesses and Individuals, please send her your biography so it can be posted on the website.
The Chamber Store should be fully functional in a couple weeks.
We have a suggestion box for comments.
C. Hinckley Greeters: Heather Liccardi –
In Heather’s absence Vickie Getz read the following:
Thank you, Erik Fredmonsky for supplying us monthly with public records of recent property transfers. This lets us create our routes.
Thank you to Fosters for donating the pizza boxes we stuff with information - and the pizza coupons taped inside that make the donation even better!
Thank you to all the people who bring in your information to fill the boxes
We have finished delivering for 2025. We will pick up again in early spring 2026 - MArch or April
Newcomers to Hinckley truly appreciate real people welcoming them with information they can really use.
If you want to spread the word about your business or organization, give Heather Liccardi your information. You can bring it to a meeting - example, flyers, brochures, merch, discount coupons etc.
D. Scholarship: Laura Baciu
In Laura’s absence, Amanda Pfahl reported that the Scholarship applications are on our website, given to the school counselors and in publications. They will meet again in the middle of January and are looking for new members to join the committee.
E. Donations:
Mark Staron said the Hinckley Fire Department asked for candy canes to hand out as they take the fire truck with Santa around Hinckley. They were given 220 candy canes. We still need someone to head donation requests.

6. SPOTLIGHTING OUR MEMBERS
Please see Nancy Mandilakis to be put on the speaker rotation for 2026.
Amanda Pfahl with State Farm will be our speaker in January.
George Hoose from Edward Jones was our speaker in December.
George has been married to Kathy for 30 years and has 2 daughters. He started with Bridgestone/Firestone, then OEC, Floor Coverings International and Edward Jones for the last 8 years. He vounteers 4 hours at the Medina Rapture Center every Saturday. When he meets a new client, he makes sure they are a good fit with each other and creates a Comprehensive Plan for them.

Social Security optimization
Tax efficient wealth transfer planning (life insurance is used most)

7. Old Business
A. Hinckley Holidays – Saturday, December 6, 2025 (6:00pm-8:00pm)-
Decorating at the Hinckley Preparatory Academy will start on Thursday, December 4th at 4pm. They are planning on using a Fire Truck - it is on the Fire Department’s schedule pending they don’t receive a call and it will take Trish and Santa to the school. Christina is providing over 60 dozen cookies. The school is doing some decorating as well. The Chamber banner will be up against the climbing wall to prevent the use of it that evening.
B. Buzzard Day - Sunday, March 15, 2026 (7:30am-2:00pm)
Mark hasn’t heard anything back from the MetroParks.
The price for a case of Buzzard Day Sausage is staying the same. $45 for a 5il box and $25 for Chamber members. You will be able to order from mid January to February 10. The Buzzard Day Sausage is made by Hillcrest Foods which owns Five Star Meats. They will not be pre-cooked from them (we will have the school par boil)
First planning meeting will be at Our Saviour Luthern Church on Wednesday, December 10th at 5:30pm Please note location change.
In the future, we will be meeting in Town Hall in the meeting room or senior room.
C. 3rd Annual Golf Outing - Friday, May 15, 2026 at Valleaire Golf & Event Center (8am-4:30pm)
D. Hinckley Halloween - Saturday, October 2026 (4:00pm-6:00pm)
8. New Business
a. There will be a meeting in February for all Hinckley businesses. The new Trustees have asked for this. The location is still being decided.
b. The next Chamber meeting will be on Thursday, January 8, 2026 as our regular meeting falls on New Year’s Day.
c. As there were no other nominees for VP & Secretary, Amanda Pfahl made a motion to accept Christina McVey as VP and Vickie Getz as Secretary for 2 years. Kati White seconded the motion and the motion passed.
d. Amanda Pfahl suggested that we collect food items for Feeding Medina. They need canned tuna & chicken, peanut butter, frozen meat, laundry detergent. Everyone agreed. Items can be dropped off at Amanda’s State Farm office or brought on the day of our December meeting (especially refrigerated or frozen items). Amanda will be delivering items right after the meeting.
Amanda Pfahl collected all the food items that were brought in by our members for Feeding Medina and is deliverign after the meeting.
9. Announcements
Mark Staron said we will be revisiting Hometown Heroes - Eric Fredmonsky, a veteran, has agreed to head the project.
10. Motion to Adjourn
12:50pm: Lynne Rotundo made the motion to adjourn and Gayle Staron seconded, and the motion carried.
