What is your company’s, organization’s or group’s primary activity.
I opened the Amanda Pfahl State Farm Agency in 2006 at the same location it sits today on West 130th Street at what some refer to as Bennett’s Corners. My father (now retired) owned a State Farm agency as well, and from a very young age, I knew that helping people recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams was what I wanted to pursue in my own career. My team of local, licensed professionals along with myself, offer help with the everyday risks you may encounter as well as those that may be unforeseen through personalized insurance and financial services guidance. Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm is there, is not only the company’s slogan, but the way I choose to run my business and live as a member of this community.
Tell us about you:
My husband Jeremy and I live in Granger with our two children, Graham and Sammy. They attend Granger Elementary and are involved in lots of extra curricular activities that keep us busy! I am also a Trustee for The Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence and Chair the Public Relations Committee. I enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors gardening and we enjoy spending time together as a family traveling and love a good college football game when we get opportunity to watch!
Your key to success:
The key to my success has been embracing our community and being embraced by our community. This is a special place and we have so much to be thankful for … keeping that in front of me everyday has led to great success for my business.
